Passover Haggadah by Asufa-Israeli Design store
Every year Asufa picks 45 graphic designers and illustrators to participate in its Haggadah. I was chosen for its 8th edition (2021) and assigned the text segment "צא". My goal was to add colors, shapes and engaging images to accompany the often unfamiliar traditional content.
My illustrations captured the journey of survival of the Jewish people leaving Egypt via the parable of a woman entering puberty - similar to the developing Jewish Nation. My drawings created a light and fun way to read a usually awkward text at the family Passover meal.
