70 Posters: Israel’s 70th Independence Day
Inspired by Israeli design, posters capture Israel’s history throughout its 70 years of independence between 1948 to 2018.
This Israeli-German project - later published as a book - chose my poster as the winner of Israel’s 70th year. It was important to me to capture as much of everyday Israeli life and iconic common details, so familiar to both locals and tourists. I emphasized the diversity of Israeli society with all its complications and opportunities.
